What you type stays in this tab
Your name and preferences are processed in your browser. We do not send them to a generation API, save them to an account, or store them in cookies, local storage or a database. Refreshing or closing the tab clears the generator’s in-memory input and recommendation history.
Privacy-conscious analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and a small set of product actions: starting or completing the generator, generating again, sharing, and downloading. We never send the name or pronunciation you type, your country choice, or a recommended Korean name as an analytics event parameter. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag configuration. There is no login, advertising pixel, or session replay.
When you share or download
A shared URL contains the IDs of a recommended Korean family name, given name and style. Anyone with that URL can open it. It does not contain your original name, country or gender selection. Shared name pages ask search engines not to index them, but the links are public rather than access-controlled.
Downloaded PNG name cards are created in your browser and saved to your device. A native share action passes the chosen public link and Korean name to the app you select. That app has its own privacy practices.
Hosting and external links
Vercel hosts the website and may process ordinary request data, such as an IP address and the URL visited, to deliver and secure it. This is separate from saving your generator input. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its handling of hosting data.
Fonts are served from our website. External reference websites receive a request only if you follow their links. Their own policies apply.
